THE FLAGS OF HONOR & HEROES WISH TO THANK YOU

February 28, 2004

To all of our Friends and Supporters:

We thank you all for your support of the Flag of Honor and Flag of Heroes Project
over this past two years. Your efforts and kindness have become the real Memorial
to the victims and Heroes of September 11th.

It is with deep regret that we must announce that Gregory Bee will be leaving the
Flag of Honor project team. As many of you know, Gregory has been with the project
almost since the beginning. His efforts and dedication to the project and to the families
have been exceptional. His personality resounds throughout our efforts and his selflessness
has been inspirational. After much reflection, Gregory has decided that his future lies in
Europe with his family. We thank him on behalf of the rest of the team, the families, and
all of our supporters and wish him all good things.

If you haven’t visited our website lately you are missing some fine photos.
Also we have teamed up with Healing Fields < www.healingfields.org > of Utah to assist
communities to set up memorial fields to commemorate Patriots Day. It is a truly moving
experience to see one of these fields in person. The goal is to have a Healing Field in every
State by the 5th anniversary of 9/11. The fields are also a wonderful way to raise money for
local charities.

Check out the website < www.pridetoanation.com > Artist Rodrigo Villarroel has produced
an incredible painting of the famous photo of three firefighters raising the flag at Ground Zero.
It is worth seeing.

Finally, our effort to provide an artist canvas to each victim’s family through the Flag of Honor Fund
is progressing. We received a donation of over $12,000 as a result of the Healing Field in Oregon.
We are working with the studio now to produce the limited Public edition which will be on sale
through the website with all proceeds going to the Fund.
From this we will produce the Family Edition for distribution to each family.
Our goal is to complete this by the fifth anniversary of September 11th.

Again, thank you for your support. Stay well.
