Dear Friends and Supporters,
As we enter the holiday season the Flag of Honor team would like to thank you for your support and friendship. We consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to work with such compassionate people as you.
We are very proud to have delivered our first Family artists canvas of the Flag of Honor to Lee and Eunice Hanson from Weston, CT. Lee and Eunice lost their son Peter, daughter-in-law Sue and grand-daughter Christine on UAL Flt 175. Christine was the youngest angel that day. The framed canvas was presented to them in October. Our goal is to have canvases delivered to all families by September 2006.

In addition, Limited Edition canvas # 658 was presented to Cantor Fitzgerald in memorial to the unimaginable loss they suffered that day. We commend them for the efforts they have made on behalf of those who they lost.
We have begun a canvas sponsorship program whereby your contribution of $500 will allow you to designate a victims family which will receive a Family edition canvas on your behalf. In addition, you will receive a framed, signed and numbered Limited Edition canvas. What better gift than the gift of remembrance. Our troops here in America and overseas continue to write and send photos. We pray every day for their safe and swift return to home and loved ones. We owe them a real debt of gratitude for the sacrifice they make in all of our names. Our admiration and appreciation for them is heartfelt and limitless. Thank you all.

We have had a few disappointments these past months. Several companies and organizations have indicated that they consider the events of September 11th a closed Chapter. They believe that the American people have forgotten. How wrong they are. If they could only see the e-mails, letters and photos we receive they would know the truth. The American people will never forget those we lost, for they were us.

I dont want this to be a sales brochure but the Flag of Honor and Flag of Heroes make a wonderful holiday gift. I guarantee that it will be cherished for many years. You can find the flags at www.flagofhonor.org.

Lastly, but most importantly, we would like to ask from you that you please forward the Flag of Honor/Flag of Heroes website to as many people as you can. If each of us sends it to just a few people, it will make a tremendous difference in our effort to continue our remembrance project throughout the country and the world.
