Patriots Day Memorial Gresham Oregon Healing Field
Commemoration of the second anniversary of 9/11/01.
This is a photo of the fire department crew that helped place the over 3,000 flags in a field at Microchip, a company in our city, to commemorate the anniversary of 9/11/01. We started at 0530 hrs and it took over 4 hours to place all the flags.
There was a full day of activities on 9/11 there also. The memorial was very popular and was always full of spectators driving through, walking amongst and taking photos of all the flags. There were alot of emotions in the crowds.
