Flags of Honor
USAF
62 Airlift Wing.

Sir,

Thanks for the extension on this suspense; we used the additional time to hand-craft display frames for the flags. One Flag of Honor is framed and we are in the process of framing the second. The framed flag will be placed on permanent display at the Professional Development Center, which houses the Airman Leadership School and the First Term Airman Center (FTAC). The attached photos show this flag with an FTAC class. The second flag, once framing is complete (ECD: 30 Aug) will be displayed in the new Mission Support Center.

CCs,

In the mail you be receiving two (2) Flags of Honor I mentioned during last weeks VTC. They were provided to 18AF by Mr. Kelly Broomall, 19000 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, OR 97230. As you will see, they are an incredible reminder of 911 and those that lost their life that day. I would ask that provide Kelly and our office feedback (& pictures) of how you used the flags at your location.

This is a great way to help our folks always remember the sacrifices made on 911. WWIII
